To be fair a 2.5 should be given. Wasn't my favorite, the only saving grace is that it did have a bit more with Magnus Bane and Alec in it.Simon's perspective didn't bother me, I know it might for some, but not to me. Overall, I felt like this was a weird book. I found out that it was an added book seeing as originally this was only a trilogy, but now it is going to have more books in it. I will probably read them...if just for the characters. Not Jace or Clary (although character wise, I do like Infernal Devices better). ***Spoiler alert***I don't like that she brought back a character that was already dead. My main problem with Cassandra Clare is how she plots her books. I know I have rated some of her books better than others, mostly because of character motivations or how I generally felt about the book itself. That and some of the scenes between Jace and Clary can get downright annoying.
